I drove out to Cottage Grove to meet with a couple to review their wedding contract and do their engagement session. It was wonderful to meet them and to explore their wedding venue – Hope Glen Farm. There were quite a few neat photo spots. I can almost imagine their wedding already! We had a lot of fun and here are some of my favorite photos:
Congratulations C+K! I can’t wait to photograph your wedding in 2013!
I first met this couple, Lori and Erik, when I photographed their engagement photos at the conservatory in St. Paul. It was wonderful to see them again for their big day.
I drove out to Turtle Lake, Wisconsin where we spent time at Lori’s church, a local bowling alley and bar, and then to Amery for their reception.
It was a wonderful day and I enjoyed getting out of the metro area and taking a drive by myself. :)
Here are a few of my favorites – it was a bright day!
It’s wonderful to have an oasis like the Como Conservatory in St. Paul, Minnesota to visit in the midst of the winter months. While winter weather still hasn’t fully arrived yet (it seems to be rather late this year), outdoor photos aren’t often an option. It’s chilly outside, it may be snowing or raining, and most people would rather not brave the elements.
For a small fee Como Conservatory allows a photographer to photograph up to two people for thirty minutes in the various Conservatory garden rooms. I visited there about two weeks ago with this nice couple who will be getting married next year. We quickly made the rounds in the gardens and were able to capture some great moments and it looks like we went somewhere pretty exotic and warm. :)
Congratulations! I cannot wait to photograph the wedding!! :)
